in America, black people are being gunned down simply for being alive, gay people can’t get married/can’t get jobs, politicians say women are asking for rape, trans people are being murdered every day, Middle Easterns are suspected to be terrorists, white men are defended for shooting up schools, teenage boys are building bombs to murder family and schoolmates and yet people still have the audacity to say this is the land of the free
Yeah, we do.
Blacks are generally gunned down by gangs relentlessly be them also black, hispanic, white, asian, ect. And those gangs in turn slaughter eachother all the time, and even though the government is trying, it is still very hard to put down gangs like them without resorting to martial law. The problem regarding the gay marriage is rooted in two things, people’s religious beliefs and traditional values passed on by the generations from the 20’s and the 40/50’s. No devil’s advocate for the rape comment because it’s true. I have yet to hear of tras people being killed out of spite, but i wouldn’t doubt it because groups such as the KKK exist and influence negative culture onto the populace. The reason middle eastern people are sometimes suspected of being a terrorist is because it’s a war against people who aren’t in uniforms, and the majority of those people who aren’t wearing uniforms killing innocents, are people of middle east descent, so it’s understandable that people would be cautious especially after the latest issis threat to america video where a child (looking no more older than 15 I would say) said we could expect carbombs, burning churches, and basically killing all those who refuse to conform to them. And white men being defended for shooting up a school. They are also citizens of the united states and just like you, are given a trial by their peers and just like you, are defended by an attorny. Boys making bombs, rarely, you don’t see that everyday in America. In Iraq, boys are making bombs in surplus, to kill their own people. Men butchered along with children, women buried alive, the main upper area of the middle east in chaos, Russian supporters in occupied Crimea shoot down a passenger plane. So yes, we do have the audacity to say we are the land of the free, because unlike you, we feel grateful that we aren’t hiding in our basements every night like people in Israel, and Iraq. Compared to the rest of the world, our problems are petty.
